PV Project – Compact PV Substations

This groundbreaking initiative involves the supply and installation of two 2MVA Compact PV Substations, equipped with cutting-edge components to efficiently harness solar energy for electrical power generation. ArmCoil’s Solution
ArmCoil’s contribution to the PV Project comprised a meticulously crafted package of components. The HV Compartment featured Schneider RM6 and BTU components, both supplied by our partner, along with a backup light and a Communications Panel from our partner.
The Transformer Compartment showcased a 2MVA Transformer with a 6600/400V manufactured by ArmCoil, PV configuration, employing the ONAN cooling system and additional protection measures such as OTI and WTI.
In the LV Compartment, ArmCoil supplied two LV Panels housing a total of 14 200Amp Breakers, a 2500A Main ACB, internal lights, a bus section between LV Panels, and essential local supply infrastructure. The compact design of the Enclosure included an oversize HV Enclosure and bund wall for the transformer compartment, ensuring a robust and easily accessible structure.
The Inverter Skid, also provided by ArmCoil, featured a complete, robust structure equipped to house 14 free-issue inverters.
